I normally roll through Decatur pretty early in the morning. Living in Urbana, I always come in off of I-72 and get on 51 heading into town. I usually hit town before 4AM.
Today was no exception. I got to Decatur about 3:45 and proceeded into town. I didn't realize until I got to the station that I had not driven past one other driver the entire way through Decatur. I always see a few people out and about. This morning, it was quiet. I got out of my car and just stood outside of the station enjoying the silence. How often can you be downtown somewhere and not be hearing a sound?
Hopefully, your day can be that peaceful. I know mine won't be.

This is one reason I like to go hunting. You go out early in the morning and it is so quit and peaceful. Skydiving gives you the same feeling when you are hanging under your shoot.
