I'm sure this is true at all offices, but if one person is in a foul mood, it takes over the entire place. I'm sure this is more true when there are only 4 people at work! Anyway, I have been trying to figure out if I am in fact grumpy or if someone has turned me down this road. I really wasn't in a bad mood until I got here! One of life's great mysteries I guess.
I took Connor on our first walk through the park yesterday. I checked out the map and the trail we walked turned out to be right at about 2 miles. I felt really good afterwards and hope to get back out there today or tomorrow. The best part was when you get about halfway out, it is nothing but peace and quiet. If I hadn't been exercising, I probably would've been sitting on the bench out there just sitting. I think I'm going to take Bethany and Connor out there today so we can continue walking. I am really hoping to have a big week in the weight loss department, so I need to keep it up!

Do I have to?
I couldn't help but feel that way as my alarm went off for the 20th time this morning. Do I really have to show up to work to get paid? That is some BS arrangement! I have got to find a gig like that.
I have to say I had an awesome start to the crazy busy August. Our nieces came over and spent the night on Saturday. We went to a drive in movie theater Saturday to see G Force. I was pretty unimpressed by the movie, but it's just because there are so many good kid movies out there.
On Sunday, we took the girls to a park that is close by the house. I had always seen people walking this trail and I wanted to give it a try. I took off with Connor in the stroller. It turns out that this course is about 2.5 miles long. Who knew going in? I walked about a third of it and had to turn around and go back because I realized I didn't bring my cell phone. All I needed was to be that far out from Bethany and the girls and not be able to be reached. My goal is to stop there 3 times this week for walks. We shall see.
